Durarara!! 03
I still have no idea what is going on in this series. Clearly, the apple does not fall far from the tree as Baccano did not make any sense at the beginning. Scratch that, you pretty much had to watch it twice to get the full picture.
This guy is so hood.
A lot happened in this episode, but at the same time, nothing really happened. With each episode, the relationships between characters become deeper and clearer. At the same time, little is revealed as far as plot goes, so the events that happen in the first three episodes are hard to put together.
That said, quite a bit does happen in episode three. There is a fight, bullying, and multiple instances of love. Compared to the previous episode, I enjoyed this one a lot more, mostly because it wasn’t as dark (happened during the day) and we got to see a fight. The super darkness of the city is visually attractive, but after a few episodes it becomes a bit too much. That’s just my opinion of course, it may not bother other people.
Anyway, I’m glad that I watched Baccano. I’m already used to this development style. I know if I just sit back and enjoy it, everything will begin to make sense at some point. Definitely looking forward to seeing where this story goes.
