My DVDs

The collection was started by a DVD, and since they are the most entertaining and useful of all the items in my collection, it will most likely always be predominantly made up of DVDs. I like to try to have a well rounded collection when possible, so I have a wide range of DVD titles. This small collection encompasses many genres including cute comedy titles such as Azumanga Diaoh, to violent shows such as Black Lagoon. I even have some classics such as Whisper of the Heart and Princess Mononoke.

The oldest (in terms of date acquired) titles are (in order of seniority) Ah! My Goddess The Movie, and the Azumanga Diaoh and Love Hina box sets. The newest additions are Fate/ Stay Night vol 3 and 4 dvds.

In terms of stand-out titles, the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi and Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu come to mind right away. The former has really been a hit both here and abroad and in my opinion one of the best series' of the last few years. Also of note is the Ghost in the Shell 2nd Gig box set- not only is the construction of the actual box stellar, but video files on the DVDs are very high quality.
